Lime Glow Juniper - 10 Live Plants - Juniperus Horizontalis - Hardy Evergreen Ground Cover

An extremely attractive semi dwarf type juniper that is sometimes used as a groundcover, but is equally as useful as a low growing foreground planting, or colorful accents along borders, walkways, or in front of larger growing species with different color & texture. Growth habit is somewhat squatty, and vase shaped, being narrower at the base, and spreading or arching outward at about a 45 degree angle from the base. Foliage is a bright chartreuse yellow color especially when new, and during the warmer months - turns a rich coppery color in winter, especially in colder climates providing a definite seasonal interest. Adapts to a fairly wide range of soils & conditions, but does prefer well drained soils for best results. Also prefers locations with good sun exposure in order to display the brightest coloration possible. Lime Glow Juniper has extremely bright chartreuse yellow new growth fades slightly to a bright lime green with maturity. Winter coloration has strong coppery accents, which dissipates with the onset of warmer temps in spring
