This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These circuit boards are intended for use in hard drive repairs and data recovery. Before ordering, confirm that swapping the PCB is likely to resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most Seagate PCBs include unique data stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that information is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board — if the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the procedure.
