A server-grade board, the Supermicro X8DTG-DF is built on the Intel® 5520 (Tylersburg) chipset for stable multi-processor environments. Memory support includes up to 192GB DDR3 at 1333/1066/800MHz using ECC Registered DIMMs, or up to 48GB when populated with unbuffered DIMMs. Networking is handled by an integrated dual-port Intel® 82576 Gigabit Ethernet controller. For storage, the board offers six SATA ports running at 3 Gbps provided by the ICH10R controller.
