Optical construction uses advanced high-index and low-dispersion glass combined with improved barrel materials and anti-reflection coatings. Designed with modern computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing processes, the adapter employs Crystal optics AR coating to limit light loss and flare to less than 1% per surface. It also features BAB (Internal Black Almite Barrel) — a black matte satin finish that suppresses internal reflections — and BRG (Black Rimmed Glass) to reduce the risk of light bouncing off the glass edge.
