With B/BB grade Baltic Birch, one side is B. This designation means that you have a clear, single piece face without any patches. BB is the backside. It is also a clear single piece but allows for color matched patches. These boards may also have some fraying on the ends and/or be slightly shorter. While patches are subtle and color-matched, they become very obvious when stained. If you display both sides, the patch will be noticeable. We can provide Glowforge cut settings. All tested on a Glowforge Basic. Please note that for 1/4th thickness, the speed has to be slow to cut and so causes some scorching. Consider the 1/8th thickness for faster cutting.
