The supplied 110VAC/12VDC step down transformer can be removed so the unit will run from a 12 volt system using the included 12 volt plug in cord. This model operates as either a spot or a flood light and is available with your choice of a 5" or 7" lens diameter. Optical performance: the reflector and lens arrangement produces a 900 foot beam in spotlight mode, delivering approximately 5 million retail candlepower. The lamp uses an industrial grade tungsten filament bulb designed for 1200 hours of life in this configuration. What’s included: the 100W halogen handheld unit, a 25 foot cord, and the 110VAC/12VDC step down transformer. Durability and construction: the handle and lamp housing support are molded from high impact nylon. The polycarbonate lamp housing is thick and contoured for extra strength, and the impact resistant polycarbonate lens is lightweight, shatter resistant, and thermal resistant. Internal wiring uses 16 gauge cable with robust connectors. The reflector is uniquely shallow and shaped to efficiently capture and focus the light.
