175 ft 6/4 SOOW Cable — Heavy-Duty Flexible Power Cord

Contains 175 feet of 6/4 SOOW cable, proudly manufactured in the USA. Certified and approved for use under NEC 400 and NFPA 70; MSHA approved; REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and Prop 65 compliant. FT-5 flame tested. Construction features rope-lay, bunch-stranded 30 AWG SAE pure copper conductors composed of extremely flexible copper strands. Internal conductors are insulated with color-coded, highly flexible EDPM insulation and the assembly is protected by a durable, abrasion-resistant CPE insulation jacket. Electrical and environmental ratings: rated for up to 600 volts; operating temperature range -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F); oil-resistant temperature rating 60°C (140°F). Designed for both indoor and outdoor use and meets or exceeds a 720-hour UV resistant aging test. The insulation is resistant to abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, extreme temperatures, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, and water. Ideal applications include portable power, extension cords, heavy equipment, construction machinery, motor leads, welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, shallow water immersion, mining environments, and any situation that requires a rugged, heavy-duty flexible cable.
