This dual-purpose document camera functions as both a high-resolution scanner and a PC webcam for classroom instruction, remote teaching, conference calls, or everyday office and home use. It uses an 8.0 million pixel sensor to deliver live images up to 3264 x 2448 pixels at 30 fps and can capture documents up to A3 size (A4 also supported). Optics and capture: The auto-adjusting lens quickly shifts focus between different objects and includes a macro mode that can capture items as close as 10 cm. It scans printed materials such as documents, books, pictures, bills, magazines and a variety of other objects. The compact footprint and multi-joint arm design make it easy to position for precise capture while saving desktop space. Lighting and image control: Supplemental LED lighting plus the included anti-glare sheet reduce exposure and reflection issues in both bright and dim environments, ensuring clear results under challenging lighting conditions. Connectivity and software: The unit connects to your computer via USB with a plug-and-play design; software is available for download and should be installed for full functionality. Supplied software provides tools including a writing pen, eraser, freeze/snap tools, photo capture and video recorder.
