Compact 20A MPPT solar charge controller for 12V/24V systems, supporting photovoltaic input up to Maximum 100V. Compatible with Automotive acid, Gel and Lithium battery types and built with multiple protection mechanisms for safe, reliable charging. Features include support for capacitive-load high-current starts to handle large inrush currents and automatic battery-voltage recognition for plug-and-play operation. The controller provides temperature compensation to automatically modify charge and discharge parameters, helping extend battery life. It also includes built-in over-temperature protection: if the controller’s temperature rises above the preset threshold it will reduce charging power so the charging current returns to the rated value. Likewise, when solar panel output pushes charging current above the rated 20A, the controller will automatically limit charging power to bring the current back to the rated level.
