24-Pack Tool-Free Shielded RJ45 Cat8 Field Termination Plugs — Cat8 Connector (Metal Die-Cast)

Shielded metal-shell RJ45 field termination plugs designed for Cat8 channel connections to switches and servers. The modular plug uses a sturdy die-cast shell for superior shielding and reduced alien crosstalk, and is compatible with 22 AWG to 24 AWG shielded Cat8 cable with an outer diameter between 7.0 and 8.5 mm. Cat8 channel performance has been verified by GHMT and supports 10GBASE-T, 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T channel-compatible networks up to 30 meters; fully backward compatible with Cat 6 (Cat6), Cat 6A (Cat6A) and Cat 7 (Cat7A) Ethernet connectors. The connector features an open-hinge, tool-free design that eases placement and termination of bulky shielded cables; the IDC module accepts T568A or T568B wiring and the termination cover is color-coded for clear identification. A one-piece metal shell with an integrated muffler cylinder suppresses EMI, NEXT and AXT electromagnetic noise and crosstalk, while a screw-in metal strain relief preserves cable integrity and enhances shielding. Includes an IP20-rated dust cover to protect RJ45 contacts during transport and storage. Supports PoE+ per IEEE 802.3at and Cat8 auto-negotiation in mixed networks, allowing link speeds to adapt to 1 GB switch, 10 GB switch or 40 GB switch environments.
