This precision thermostat for 3KW/2KW pool and spa hot tub electric heaters maintains water temperature up to a maximum of 40 °C (104 °F). When starting with cold water, heating raises the temperature at approximately 6 ~ 8 °C per hour. The unit runs automatically: it heats to the preset temperature, then stops until the temperature falls by a few degrees, at which point it restarts heating. An ultra-high temperature protection switch will trip (cut power) if temperature exceeds 49 °C, and a reset button is provided.
