This 3KW electric thermostat includes an ultra-high temperature protection switch to prevent overheating and protect users. After installation, perform a safety check before first use: fill the tub to the proper level, start the system and allow the unit to run through its automatic self-check. Let it operate until the thermostat reaches its highest stabilization point and the display lights go out; at that time an accurate thermometer should read 40 °C. Key operation and safety details: - Fully automatic control: turn the knob clockwise to activate heating; the indicator light will illuminate while heating. Once the preset temperature is reached, the unit will hold that temperature. - Temperature limit: the thermostat is designed to maintain water temperature not exceeding 40 °C (104 °F). - Cold-start heating rate: when beginning with cold water, temperature will rise at approximately 6 ~ 8 °C/h. - Automatic cycling: the heater will reach the preset temperature, shut off, and then automatically restart after the temperature falls a few degrees. - Over-temperature protection: if water exceeds 49 °C, the ultra-high temperature switch will trip and cut power automatically.
