3KW electric thermostat designed for swimming pools, hot tubs, bathtubs and spa equipment with built-in overheat protection. The unit includes an ultra-high temperature protection switch to prevent overheating and protect users. Initial setup and safety check: after installation, perform the first safety test. Fill the tub to the proper level and start the system so it can run an automatic self-check and stabilize at the highest thermostat setting until the display/indicator lights go out. Use an accurate thermometer to confirm the water temperature is 40 °C. Operation is fully automatic: turning the thermostat control clockwise switches the heating on and lights the indicator; once the preset temperature is reached, the device holds that temperature. The thermostat maintains temperatures not exceeding 40 °C (104 °F). When started with cold water, expect a temperature rise of approximately 6 ~ 8 °C / h. Heating cycles automatically: the heater runs until the set temperature is reached, then stops, and it will restart automatically when the temperature falls a few degrees below the set point. For safety, if the water exceeds 49 °C the ultra-high temperature switch will trip and cut power.
