This electric thermostat includes an ultra-high temperature protection switch to prevent overheating. After installation, perform safety checks and a first-run verification before regular use. Fill the tub or pool to the appropriate level and start the system; it will run an automatic check and stabilize at the highest setting until the display lights turn off. At that point, confirm the water temperature with a reliable thermometer — it should read 40 °C. Operation is fully automatic: turn the control clockwise to activate heating (indicator light on). The unit heats to the preset temperature and holds that level. Normal operation maintains water at or below 40 °C (104 °F). When cold water is introduced, the water temperature will rise at approximately 6 ~ 8 °C/h. The thermostat cycles automatically: it heats until the target temperature is reached, then shuts off and remains off until the temperature falls by a few degrees, at which point it restarts heating. If the water exceeds safe limits, the ultra-high temperature switch will trip (power off) when temperatures rise over 49 °C, cutting power to protect users and equipment.
