3KW electric thermostat designed for swimming pools, spas, bathtubs and massage hot tubs, offering quiet, automatic temperature control and built-in safety protection. Features: - Initial temperature setup includes an ultra-high temperature protection switch to limit overheating and protect users from danger. - Fully automatic operation: turn clockwise to switch heating on; an indicator light shows when the heater is active. When the preset temperature is reached the unit maintains that temperature. - Designed to hold water temperature within a range not exceeding 40 °C (104 °F). - When cold water is introduced, temperature will rise at approximately 6 ~ 8 °C / h. - Automatic cycling: the thermostat heats until the preset temperature is reached, then stops; it automatically restarts when the temperature falls a few degrees. - If temperature exceeds 49 °C, the ultra-high temperature switch will trip and cut power (automatic power-off).
