3KW Precision Thermostat for Electric Water Heater — Spa, Bathtub, Hot Tub, Swimming Pool Massage Heater

Compact 3KW electric thermostat designed for use with spas, bathtubs, massage hot tubs and swimming pool heaters. Features an integrated ultra-high temperature protection switch to prevent overheating and ensure user safety. Before first use, complete installation and perform safety checks: fill the tub to the proper level, start the system and allow it to run until the thermostat stabilizes at its highest setting and the indicator lights go out. Verify the water temperature with an accurate thermometer — it should read 40 °C. Operation is fully automatic. Turn the control clockwise to enable heating; the indicator light will illuminate while the unit heats. Once the preset temperature is reached the thermostat will hold that temperature. On automatic cycle, the unit heats to the preset, then stops until the temperature falls a few degrees, at which point it will automatically restart heating. Temperature control maintains the water at no more than 40 °C (104 °F). When starting from cold water, the temperature will rise at a rate of 6 ~ 8 °C / h. If the temperature exceeds 49 °C, the ultra-high temperature switch will trip and cut power to the unit to prevent dangerous overheating.
