Ensure the circulation pump is correctly matched to the thermostat: an undersized pump will produce insufficient flow and can cause the heating tube to be damaged by dry burning. Pump requirements: for units below 11KW the supporting pump must be at least 750W with a minimum flow of 13 cubic meters per hour; for units above 11KW the pump must be at least 1.1KW with a minimum flow of 18 cubic meters per hour. Recommended start/stop procedure: switch the water pump on first, then power the thermostat. When shutting down, turn the thermostat off and wait 10 seconds to 1 minute before stopping the pump. Note: this thermostat at 1KW can heat approximately 1 cubic meter of water; outdoor pools will require greater heating capacity.
