Purpose-built to remove the OTDR blind zone, this launch cable enables precise measurement of loss and reflectivity at the near-end connection. It features SC UPC–SC APC single mode connectors and is compatible with single mode fiber operating at 1310/1550nm. At 500m (1640.4ft) length the fiber optic testing extension offers ample reach for testing multiple fiber runs. The unit uses a press-cover design for quick removal of the jumper when testing and simple reseating for storage after rewiring.
