Includes 20 feet of 6/4 SOOW cable, manufactured in the USA. This cable is NEC 400 and NFPA 70 permitted, MSHA approved, and complies with REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and Prop 65. FT-5 flame tested for enhanced safety. Constructed for rugged use: the conductors are 30 AWG SAE pure copper (rope-lay, bunch-stranded) composed of extremely flexible 30 AWG copper strands. Each internal conductor is insulated with color-coded, extremely flexible EDPM insulation, and the assembly is protected by a durable, abrasion-resistant CPE insulation jacket. Electrical and environmental ratings: rated up to 600 volts; operating temperature range -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F); oil-resistant temperature rating 60°C (140°F). Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The insulation is formulated to resist abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, extreme temperatures, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, and water. Ideal uses include portable power, extension cords, heavy equipment, construction machinery, motor leads, welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, shallow water immersion, mining environments, and any situation requiring a rugged, heavy-duty flexible cable. Meets or exceeds the 720 hour UV resistant aging test.
