6/4 SOOW Cable — 30 Ft (Manufactured in USA)

Heavy-duty 6/4 SOOW cable supplied in a 30 foot length and manufactured in the USA. This rugged, flexible power cable is FT-5 flame tested and carries multiple industry approvals: NEC 400 and NFPA 70 permitted, MSHA approved, and compliant with REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and Prop 65. Cable construction: A durable CPE outer jacket provides abrasion resistance while the internal conductors are insulated with colored-coded extremely flexible EDPM insulation. Conductors are 30 AWG SAE pure copper (rope-lay, bunch-stranded) made from extremely flexible 30 AWG copper strands for maximum flexibility. Electrical and environmental ratings: Rated up to 600 volts. Operating temperature range is -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F), with an oil-resistant temperature rating of 60°C (140°F). The cable is rated for indoor and outdoor use (also rated for outdoor use) and meets or exceeds the 720 hour UV resistant aging test. Chemical and element resistance: Insulation resists abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, extreme temperatures, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, and water. Typical applications include portable power and extension cords, heavy equipment and construction machinery, motor and welding leads, portable lighting and battery chargers, shallow water immersion, mining environments, and any situation requiring a rugged, heavy-duty, flexible cable.
