Range & Detection: The unit displays reflection events out to a maximum distance of 60km (1dB) and can detect non-reflection events up to 20km (2.5dB), enabling identification of problems along extended cable runs. Accuracy & Units: Distance measurements are reported in meters. Distance accuracy for reflection events is specified as ±(2m+2*10(-4)*Distance), delivering dependable location precision for troubleshooting. Built-in Visual Fault Locator: A 650nm VFL is integrated into the instrument (output power >=1mW) for convenient visual tracing and quick fiber fault verification. Power & Endurance: The tool is powered by 3 AA 1.5V batteries (not included) and provides an operating endurance of up to 5000 measurements on a set of batteries, making it suitable for field use. Environmental & Physical Specs: Designed for rugged use, the operating temperature range is -5~40°C and the storage range is -10~60°C. The compact housing measures 192*102*50mm and the unit weighs 338g, making it easy to carry and handle on site.
