Preset 75 degree temporary cooling thermostat designed for construction use — sold as a 10 Pack and set to a fixed, non-adjustable temperature to help cut energy costs on job sites. Patented and manufactured since 1997. A built-in capacitor absorbs the arc when contacts open and close, eliminating heat production that can lead to short cycling. A plastic cover further reduces short cycling by slowing the thermostat’s response time. Uses bi-metal gold ash contacts that receive two temperature-sorted tests on the bi-metal component plus two additional in-house tests to ensure consistent performance. Approximately 1.5° temperature differential.
