8/3 SOOW Cable — 60 Feet (USA-Made)

Manufactured in the USA, this rugged 8/3 SOOW cable is built for heavy-duty portable power use and meets multiple regulatory requirements: NEC 400 and NFPA 70 permitted, MSHA approved, REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and Prop 65 compliant. It is FT-5 flame tested and passes a 720 hour UV resistant aging test. Applications include portable power, extension cords, heavy equipment, construction machinery, motor leads, welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, shallow water immersion, mining environments, and any situation requiring a durable, highly flexible cable. Construction: 30 AWG SAE pure copper conductors (rope-lay, bunch-stranded) provide extreme flexibility. Conductors are insulated with color-coded, extremely flexible EPDM. The outer jacket is abrasion-resistant CPE insulation for long life in demanding environments. Electrical and environmental ratings: rated for up to 600 volts; temperature range -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F); oil resistant temperature rating 60°C (140°F). Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Chemical and abuse resistance: insulation resists abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, extreme temperatures, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, and water.
