Made in the USA and approved for use under NEC Article 400 and NFPA 70. MSHA approved and compliant with REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and California Prop 65. This cable has been FT-5 flame tested. Ideal uses include portable power, extension cords, heavy equipment, construction machinery, motor leads, welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, shallow water immersion, mining environments, and any application demanding a rugged, highly flexible heavy-duty cable. Cable construction features exceptionally flexible 30 AWG SAE pure copper conductors (rope-lay, bunch-stranded) with color-coded, highly flexible EPDM insulation on the individual conductors and a durable, abrasion-resistant CPE outer jacket. Electrical and environmental specs: rated to 600 volts; operating temperature range -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F); oil-resistant temperature rating 60°C (140°F). Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the insulation is resistant to abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, extreme temperatures, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, and water. Meets or exceeds a 720-hour UV resistant aging test.
