This 8 Gauge, 4 Conductor SOOW cable (150 Feet) is built to the UL62 and CSA C22.2 standards for flexible cords and cables. SOOW meaning: S = Service Cord; OO = Oil Resistant (both inside and outside insulation); W = Weather and Water Resistant. Recommended applications include portable power, electric vehicle chargers, extension cords, heavy equipment, construction machinery, motor leads, welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, shallow water immersion, mining environments, and any use that requires a rugged, heavy duty flexible multi-conductor cable.
