Tubular red and yellow flowers open revealing light yellow/white centers. Blooms throughout summer, providing nectar for hummingbirds. This honeysuckle is a plant that grows wild on our 250 acre farm.....has for years. We love to drive by the fencerows, and get to smell its wonderful, intoxicating fragrance on a warm summer day. There really just is not better place to be than at our farm, Daylily Nursery, when the Honeysuckle is in full bloom! Can be invasive, be careful where you put it. In the fence rows, the leaves are smooth, however, when potted up, they are serrated. So, I am including pics of both......
