Light reduction between 2.3 and 2.8 (approx. +1.3 stops) for improved control of reflections and contrast. Heat-treated optical glass housed in a rugged metal filter ring with a black finish; slim profile helps minimize vignetting on wide-angle lenses. Multithreaded construction permits mounting lenses or additional filters on top.
