This pump delivers up to 264 Gallons Per Hour (4.4 Gallons Per Minute) and can lift water to 46 Feet for a wide range of household and garden tasks. Durable construction and safety features: The pump uses a metal volute and metal connectors for improved corrosion resistance and strength compared with plastic parts. It includes automatic thermal overload protection to help prevent motor damage and enhance user safety. Design and operation: This non-submersible, self-priming unit is easy to use — attach the hose and fittings, plug it in, and it’s ready to run. Do not get the motor wet. Before the first use, fill water into the pump head to wet the impeller so the pump primes correctly. Where it works: Suited for aquariums, rain barrels, filling water beds, flushing water heaters, draining flooded areas, irrigating, garden watering, and car washing. With the supplied suction attachment the pump can pull water down to a 1/8in level.
