Programs for the ADAU1401 can be loaded automatically at power-up using its self-starting mechanism or driven by an external microcontroller. When the unit is closed, the current parameter state can be written back into the ADAU1401 so those settings are available the next time the program runs. Two ADCs and four provide 98.5dB of input for the dynamic of output. The digital input/output port is designed to interface smoothly with other ADCs. ADAU1401 communication is supported via I2Cbus or a four wire port.
