As such, the increased moisture creates an ideal healing environment. SUSTAINED USE - AMERIGEL Hydrogel Wound Dressing sustains moisture longer than standard glycerin or saline-based hydrogels and will not harm healthy tissue. INSTRUCTIONS - Clean the affected area. Apply a thin layer of AMERIGEL Hydrogel Wound Dressing on the area and to the skin immediately surrounding 1 to 2 times daily. Cover the area with a sterile bandage. RECOMMENDED USE - For use as a wound dressing to manage pressure ulcers stages I-IV, stasis ulcers, diabetic skin ulcers, skin irritation, cuts, abrasions, and skin irritation associated with peristomal care.
