Powered by 2G RAM+32G ROM it runs smoothly — even in demanding environments such as colleges and universities — and includes DSP with multiple EQ sound effect scenes to tailor in-car audio. Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto work over Bluetooth and WiFi; tapping the X-Car icon launches CarPlay or Android Auto or returns you to the main screen. If you prefer a wired link, use the 4pin or 6 pin USB cable for a simpler connection. Built-in WiFi enables online map use and app installation; the unit also supports offline navigation with a Built-in Offline Map of North America. You can install or remove Android apps from the Application Store just like on a smartphone.
