This Antronix 8-port bi-directional splitter with amplifier delivers eight amplified outputs and an Active Return for true LOSSLESS performance in both forward and reverse directions. This unit is a genuine lossless 8-port splitter and is not compatible with satellite systems. Not recommended for use with OTA Antennas; use a PASSIVE Return amplifier instead. The MODEM port provides a dedicated connection point for VoIP equipment so phone service remains functional during a power failure. Compatible with all standard and digital Cable TV services, including the "Triple Play" phone service. All models are fitted with CamPort auto-seizing F-ports for reliable cable connections. Designed for tidy installations, all ports face down to allow clean wiring in any orientation. Built-in 6 kV Surge Protection on all RF ports plus PTC short-circuit protection with a UL Listed adaptor offers unique surge and self-resetting circuit protection against short-circuits. The powder-coated aluminum housing increases resistance to salt fog and rust. Manufacturer offers a 5-year warranty on the amplifier only (power supply excluded).
