The AUDALYTIC DR70 combines a proprietary Discrete R-2R Module with a True 1-Bit DSD D/A Converter to deliver high-fidelity playback with native DSD512 support. Its DSD conversion is equivalent to 8x oversampling of SACD-standard DSD64 and provides 512x the data density of the CD format for exceptionally detailed DSD rendering. A field-programmable gate array (FPGA) handles flexible logic implementation, clock management and digital shaping. The FPGA also incorporates exclusive features including DoP demodulation and PCM/DSD depop switching to ensure clean, accurate digital handling. The CK01 Clock Module supplies femtosecond-grade precision timing to the entire system for ultra-stable synchronization. Built specifically for music playback, the hardware omits non-essential components to preserve sonic integrity. The unit runs the dedicated CelWare3.x music playback system and pairs custom I/O hardware with tailored software for optimal performance. Software-controlled playback applications are supported, and non-essential bridge processes can be disabled to maximize playback efficiency. For USB input the DR70 uses the third-generation USB Audio XU316, supporting PCM up to 768kHz. Functioning as a Home Audio Network Bridge Streaming device, the DR70 is engineered to integrate into high-end networked audio systems while maintaining focus on pure, transparent sound reproduction.
