The Banshee Marine BAR-VA-1W is an active external VHF speaker in white engineered to deliver louder, more intelligible voice communications for marine radios. A built‑in 10W DSP amplifier removes audio outside the human vocal range to improve speech clarity, while the speaker is capable of 12W peak and 10W continuous (RMS) output. Installation is flexible: the included mounting bracket rotates to provide Helm or Overhead positions, and can be removed for a clean flush mount if preferred.
