BECKHOFF EL1889 EtherCAT Terminal - 16-Channel 24 V DC Digital Input Module

The BECKHOFF EL1889 is an EtherCAT digital input terminal that captures binary 24 V control signals at the process level and forwards them in an electrically isolated form to the higher-level automation unit. It provides 16 channels whose signal states are shown by LEDs. The power contacts are connected through, and the reference ground for all inputs is the 24 V power contact. Special features include ground switching, prevention of contact bounce from mechanical switches via a 3 ms input filter, and tool-free connection using a direct plug-in technique for solid wire conductors. Designed for space-saving installation in control cabinets, the EL1889 also allows direct 1-wire connection of multi-channel sensors in the smallest space.
