biOrb AIR 60 LED Terrarium — Acrylic, White

A fully automated 360-degree terrarium engineered to reproduce the microclimate found beneath a tropical forest canopy, providing the appropriate daylight, air movement and humidity for tropical plant growth. Lighting: six LED lamps are arranged in a circular pattern at the sphere’s top to deliver balanced illumination and prevent plants from leaning toward a single source. The light runs on an automatic 24-hour cycle to simulate day and night. Humidity & Misting: built-in sensors monitor moisture levels and trigger gentle misting and air circulation as needed. Three misting modes are available—low (less humid), automatic (ideal for most tropical plants) and high (suitable for jungle-style setups and some amphibious species). Ventilation: a continuously operating fan circulates internal air through a replaceable carbon filter while introducing a small amount of fresh air. Fan speeds can be set to low, medium or high to manage condensation, water usage and noise. Construction & Materials: the globe is made from acrylic — 10 times stronger than glass, 50% lighter and offering 93% transparency, with minimal heat loss to help maintain internal climate. Growth Media & Irrigation: the included coir compost (cocopeat), a renewable material obtained from coconut husks, sits on top of a capillary mat and draws water up from a small reservoir in the base to provide steady hydration and reduce the risk of root rot. Capillary matting is composed of PP (PET and viscose), providing reliable capillary action and ample water storage capacity for sub-irrigation. Convenience Features: the unit is quick to set up and requires little maintenance; when reservoir levels fall the biOrb AIR notifies you by gently flashing its lights. A discreet water level indicator is located at the base for easy monitoring.
