The Boss Audio Systems Phantom Series PD5000 is a high-output monoblock designed to drive demanding subwoofers. Rated at 5000 W Max Power with 1 Channel output, this amp provides the following RMS outputs: 3750 W X 1 RMS @ 1 Ohm, 1875 W X 1 RMS @ 2 Ohm, and 938 W X 1 RMS @ 4 Ohm. When strapped in bridged mode it delivers 7500 W X 1 RMS Strapped Bridged Power @ 2 Ohm. Built on an efficient Class D design to minimize power loss, the PD5000 is 1 Ohm stable for maximum low-impedance performance. It is strapping capable to double power by connecting two PD5000 amplifiers, making it flexible for larger installations. Tune the low end with adjustable controls: Variable Bass Boost, Variable Subsonic Filter to protect subwoofers from harmful low frequencies, and a Variable Low-Pass Crossover for accurate bass reproduction. The amplifier includes a Remote Subwoofer Control for on-the-fly bass level changes and features Red LED Backlit Illumination for a striking visual effect. Connectivity is versatile with Low Level Inputs and RCA Pre-amp Outputs. Physical dimensions are 18” x 10.31” x 2.25” and the unit weighs 13.05 lbs.
