This OM3 multimode cable contains 2 fibers with a 50 micron core and a 125 micron cladding and features a Graded-Step core and cladding construction for reliable performance. The fibers are protected by aramid yarn strength members and an aqua PVC outer jacket. Multimode operation is optimized for equipment using 850nm or 1300nm wavelengths. The fiber meets performance standards TIA/EIA 455-220A and IEC 60793-1-49, and retains compatibility with legacy and LED-based systems per TIA/EIA 455-204 and IEC 607-1-41. Riser Rated (CMR) to UL-1666, this cable is intended for vertical tray installations without environmental air (for example, cabling between floors through risers or in elevator shafts); it self-extinguishes and resists flame propagation in the vertical burn test. Cable is UL rated and RoHS Compliant.
