Overview: The Canon EOS R100 is a compact mirrorless camera powered by a DIGIC 8 image processor and an APS-C CMOS sensor (listed as 24.1MP / 24.2MP in the spec sheet). It delivers strong still-image quality and supports cropped UHD 4K recording at 24p as well as uncropped Full HD at 60p. The native sensitivity range is ISO 100–12800 to help in low-light conditions. Autofocus, Shooting and Display: Autofocus is handled by Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF system with 3975 autofocus points spanning 143 AF zones, and includes automatic subject detection and Eye Detection AF. The camera can shoot up to 6.5 fps using the electronic shutter. Framing and playback are via a 2.36m-dot OLED EVF and a 3" 1.04m-dot LCD screen. Creative Assist and a Silent Mode are available for guided shooting and quiet operation. Connectivity: The R100 offers wired and wireless transfer options along with an SD card slot. Bluetooth pairing lets you connect to smart devices using the free Canon Camera Connect app; the camera can also receive GPS location data from your phone.
