Built on processing technology borrowed from the R3, the Canon EOS R6 Mark II uses the DIGIC X processor to handle both fast stills and high-resolution video. The camera can shoot continuously at up to 40 fps using the silent electronic shutter, or 12 fps with the mechanical shutter, and performs AF and AE calculations before every frame. A 30 fps RAW Burst mode is also available, including a pre-release capture that can record up to 0.5 second before you press the shutter. For video, the R6 Mark II records high-resolution UHD 4K 60p internally using the full width of the sensor and supports 10-bit output with Canon Log 3. You can use a 6K recording area to create oversampled 4K footage at 30p for increased sharpness, reduced moiré, and lower noise. Slow-motion recording is supported at up to 180p at Full HD. The included RF 24-50mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens is a compact, lightweight standard zoom that spans wide-angle to normal focal lengths, making it well suited for everyday shooting, vlogging, and content creation. Its design works well for landscapes, cityscapes, street photography, portraits, product shots, and more. An STM stepping AF motor provides fast, smooth, and near-silent autofocus for both stills and video, while the Optical Image Stabilizer compensates for up to 4.5 stops of camera shake to help produce sharper handheld images in challenging light.
