Canon RF 24mm f/1.4 L VCM — Wide-Angle L-Series Prime with VCM & Nano USM

Overview: Part of Canon's expanding Hybrid lens series, the RF 24mm f/1.4 L VCM combines wide-angle coverage and a fast f/1.4 aperture to serve both still photographers and filmmakers. On full-frame cameras this 24mm view delivers the dramatic perspective often used for establishing shots and cinematic imagery. Autofocus & Video Features: Designed with video work in mind, the lens includes a dedicated manual iris ring and a virtually silent Voice Coil Motor (VCM). The VCM pairs with a Nano USM on a floating focus unit to provide extremely fast and quiet autofocus performance. Focus breathing is kept to a minimum, making it particularly well suited to motion capture. Optical Construction: The optical formula consists of 15 elements in 11 groups, including two UD (ultra-low dispersion) elements and one aspherical element to reduce chromatic aberration and maintain high image quality. Coatings & Flare Control: To minimize ghosting and flare, Canon has applied ASC (Air Sphere Coating), SSC (Super Spectra Coating), SWC (Sub Wavelength Coating), and Fluorine coatings to critical surfaces. Additional Features: A programmable custom function button provides quick access to your preferred setting while shooting.
