It records spatial and 3D 180° imagery compatible with major headsets such as Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3, delivering a 60° field of view that approximates natural human vision. The lens uses a dual-lens autofocus system driven by a gear-type STM motor so both optical channels focus quickly, quietly and in sync for smooth stills and video. It also supports Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF and offers full-time manual focus for precise control. Optical construction consists of nine elements in five groups, including two ultra-low dispersion elements to reduce chromatic aberration; Canon’s Super Spectra Coating helps minimize ghosting and flare for balanced contrast.
