The Canon XA70 (5736C002) is a compact, pro-oriented UHD camcorder that combines a 1" CMOS 4K sensor with the DIG!C DV 6 image processor to deliver detailed, low-noise imagery. Its integrated 15x HD optical zoom and nine-bladed circular iris produce pleasing highlights and flexible framing, while Wide DR gamma extends useful dynamic range in dim conditions. The camera uses oversampled 4K to produce high-quality Full HD images. Recording and outputs: record UHD 4K30 and Full HD 1080p60 to dual SD card slots using XF-AVC or MP4. The two card slots support automatic switchover or simultaneous recording. A mini-HDMI output can deliver up to 1920 x 1080p 10-bit 4:2:2 video at 59.94 fps. For livestreaming, the XA70 provides a USB Type-C video-only output with UVC support so you can stream HD directly to Windows or macOS computers (note: audio output through USB is not supported). Monitoring and controls: the camcorder features a larger 3.5" capacitive touchscreen LCD and a higher-resolution, tiltable 0.36" OLED EVF for flexible monitoring.
