CGEM II Computerized Motorized German Equatorial Mount with 2" Steel Tripod

Overview: The CGEM II is a computerized, motorized German equatorial mount built for serious visual observing and imaging. It supports a 40 lbs payload and features a rugged 2" steel tripod with graduated markings on the lower section for fast set-up and repeatable height positioning. The dovetail mounting system directly connects to both CG-5 & CGE dovetail bars. Drive, Power & Performance: Powered by 12 VDC at 3.2 amps, the mount uses low cog DC servo motors and offers 9 selectable slew speeds. Tracking rates include Sidereal, Solar and Lunar, and the mount operates in both EQ North and EQ South modes. Latitude adjustment covers a range from 15 degree to 70 Degree. Connectivity & Control: Ports include 1x Hand control port, 1x Auxiliary Port, 1x Auto guider port, plus 1 USB 2.0 port (on hand control). The computerized hand control has a double line, 16 character Liquid Crystal Display, 19 fiber optic backlit LED buttons and a USB 2.0 port for PC connection.
