Circular Polarizer (CPL) Compatible with PENTAX-D FA* 70-200mm f/2.8 ED DC AW

Circular polarizing (CPL) filter designed for use with the PENTAX-D FA* 70-200mm f/2.8 ED DC AW. It reduces unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass while boosting color and contrast—often used to increase contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. The CPL clears haze in distant landscapes and delivers richer, more saturated, vivid colors, with the strongest effect when positioned at a 90° angle from the sun. Constructed with an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting yet still permit full rotation for leveling. A nonslip upper rim makes installation, rotation and removal straightforward. Optical surfaces feature double sided, multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil and scratch & water resistant. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light, the filter allows much of the reflected light to be absorbed, reducing glare and improving scene clarity.
