Circular Polarizer (CPL) Compatible with Pentax smc FA 45mm f/2.8

This Circular CPL is made for use with the Pentax smc FA 45mm f/2.8 lens and reduces unwanted reflections while boosting color and contrast. The ultra-slim aluminum frame prevents vignetting yet retains rotation capabilities for adjusting levels. A nonslip upper rim makes the filter easy to install, rotate and remove. Optical glass is treated with double-sided, multi-layered coatings and is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. The filter removes reflections from non-metallic surfaces (water, glass, etc.), clears haze in distant landscapes and produces richer, more saturated colors—especially improving contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. CPL operation arranges and filters directionally polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light so much of that light is absorbed; the effect is strongest at a 90° angle from the sun.
