Circular Polarizer (CPL) Filter — Compatible with Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS

Built with an ultra-slim aluminum frame to reduce vignetting while still allowing smooth rotation for level adjustment. A nonslip upper rim simplifies attachment, rotation and removal. The glass features double-sided, multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil and resistant to scratches and water. As a circular CPL filter, it removes unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass and increases color depth and contrast. Frequently used to boost saturation and contrast in blue skies and white clouds, it also cuts haze in distant landscapes to render richer, more vivid colors. The filter works by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light so much of that light is absorbed; the effect is strongest when shooting at a 90° angle from the sun.
