Circular Polarizer (CPL) Filter — Compatible with Pentax HD-DA 16-50mm f/2.8ED PLM AW Lens

This circular polarizing (CPL) filter is built for the Pentax HD-DA 16-50mm f/2.8ED PLM AW lens. An ultra-slim aluminum frame avoids vignetting while maintaining rotation capabilities for adjusting levels. The nonslip upper rim helps install, rotate and remove easily. The glass features double sided, multi-layered coatings and is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. CPL filters selectively arrange and filter directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing absorption of much of the unwanted glare. Use it to eliminate reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass, clear haze in distant landscapes and deliver richer, more saturated colors and stronger contrast—particularly effective for deep blue skies and bright white clouds. For maximum polarization effect position the filter at a 90° angle from the sun.
