Designed with an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting while still allowing smooth rotation to set the polarization angle. A nonslip upper rim provides secure grip for easy mounting, turning and removal. The glass features double-sided, multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, and both scratch- and water-resistant. As a circular CPL, the filter cuts unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass, boosts color saturation and contrast, and is commonly used to deepen blue skies and make white clouds pop. It works by filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light so much of the glare is absorbed, helping to reduce distant haze and produce richer, more vivid landscape colors. The effect is strongest when the filter is used at a 90° angle from the sun.
