Circular Polarizer (CPL) for Sony FE 35mm F1.4 GM — Ultra-Slim Aluminum Frame

Designed for use with the Sony FE 35mm F1.4 GM, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter features an ultra-slim aluminum frame that prevents vignetting while still allowing smooth rotation for precise polarization control. A textured, nonslip upper rim makes mounting, turning and removing the filter quick and secure. The glass is treated with double-sided, multi-layer coatings that provide resistance to oil, dust and soil, and offer scratch- and water-resistant performance. The CPL reduces unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, and it enhances color and contrast—particularly boosting saturation in blue skies and white clouds. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, the filter absorbs a significant portion of that glare, reducing haze in distant landscapes and producing richer, more vivid colors. For the strongest polarizing effect, use the filter when your subject is approximately 90° from the sun.
